The Organic Wine Route
In organic wine farming grapes are grown without the use of chemical pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers. Only compost and organic materials is used, with indigenous vegetation for mulching. Weeds and pests are controlled using environmentally sound practices that sustain the health of our planet and ultimately our own well being.
In the cellar the maximum allowable quantity of sulphur dioxide is half that of the maximum permitted for conventional wines and certain chemicals are forbidden.

The Green Home exhibition is a natural extension of the show offering simple solutions and products that save energy and money, state-of- the-art technology and access to providers who can supply and install systems. The Modular Green Home
The Modular Green Home exhibit comprises four rooms i.e. kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Modular homes, from foundation to roof, inside and out are built for energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and sustainability. Movable walls, multi-use furnishings, lighting and windows enlarge the home's living spaces, while reducing the home's environmental footprint.
Organic Stage
The Organic Stage will be filled with good information, innovative solutions and inspirational ideas.
The stage will be split into sessions aimed at particular topics from: Natural and organic food, gardening, recycling, health and parenting. Sessions run in 15 - 30 minute slots to keep you captivated.
